Robert Markle - Moving Outward



Robert Markle was known for his ability to express his individuality in art. He was one of the Group of Eleven, painters.

Markle was born in 1936 in Hamilton, On, and died in Hostein On, in 1990.

    I haven't ever heard of the Group of Eleven before (Seven, yes; Eleven, no). Were the seven part of the eleven, or is this another group entirely?

    I do like the piece you show here; it's graceful and evocative.
